Schubert & Salzer – Type 7280 Compact 3/2-Way Motor Valve

Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 7280 is a compact motorized 3/2-way (3-port, 2-position) control valve designed for diverting and mixing applications in industrial process systems. Manufactured in bronze RG5 with elastomeric sealing for positive shut-off, the Type 7280 is available in sizes 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ and rated to 235 psi. Media temperatures range from -22°F to 338°F with application capability up to 392°F.

The Type 7280 uses a 180 lbf electric motor actuator with 3-point, (0)2–10V, and (0)4–20mA control signal inputs and motor voltages of 24 V AC/DC, 230 V, and 110/120 V. Multiple flow schematics are available for distributing and mixing configurations, and a spring return option is available on all control actuators. The actuator is rated IP65, and positioner electronics, limit switch, and position feedback accessories are available.
