Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 8011 GS3 is a compact self-operated sliding gate pressure regulator designed for high-accuracy pressure regulation of steam, liquids, and gases. Part of the GS3 sliding gate valve series, the Type 8011 features an entirely stainless steel construction — CF8M body and 316Ti actuator — making it exceptionally suited for aggressive environments including solvent vapor exposure, sea air, and caustic washdown conditions. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 6″ with wafer-type body design, the Type 8011 is rated to 145/580 psi and ANSI #150 and #300.

The compact spring enclosure design provides high accuracy of regulation across four selectable actuator pressure ranges from 4.4 to 145 psi. Both pressure reducing and back pressure control functions are available, and diaphragm material options include CR, EPDM, and FKM with optional PTFE foil. Media temperatures range from -22°F to +446°F, with special versions available on request. TA-Luft / ISO 15848-1 fugitive emissions compliance and CRN certification are standard approvals.
