The Schubert & Salzer Type 7042 is a precision low-flow control valve with an integrated positioner, engineered for accurate control at extremely low flow rates across a wide pressure range. Available in 1/4″ and 1/2″ sizes in stainless steel 1.4408, the Type 7042 is rated to 4,641 psi — the highest pressure rating in the Schubert & Salzer valve lineup — with a media temperature range of -76°F to +410°F. A highly polished annular plug with metal seat delivers precise and repeatable performance under difficult low and laminar flow conditions in a highly compact package.
The Type 7042 is suited for blending and injection of liquids and gases across a broad range of process industries. Schubert & Salzer’s ValSize© software ensures accurate Kv/Cv value selection for this valve, supporting precise sizing for low-flow applications.
