Schubert & Salzer – Type 7110 Angle Seat Motor Valve

Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 7110 is an electrically actuated angle seat motor valve designed for both on/off and modulating control of neutral to aggressive media including gases, vapors, and fluids. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 3″ in stainless steel CF8M or bronze RG5, the Type 7110 is rated to 232 psi or 580 psi with media temperatures from -22°F to 392°F and application capability up to 428°F.

Unlike the pneumatically actuated angle seat valves in the Schubert & Salzer lineup, the Type 7110 uses an electric motor actuator with three thrust output options (0.45 kN, 0.9 kN, 2.0 kN) and multiple voltage configurations, eliminating the need for compressed air. An integrated positioner option (positioner electronics) is available for modulating control, and the actuator is rated to IP 43 or IP 65. Connection options include NPT thread, Whitworth pipe thread, welding ends, and Tri-clamp for diverse installation requirements.
