Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 7031 is the flanged version of the Type 7010 angle seat valve, offering the same pneumatic operation, stainless steel CF8M construction, and performance characteristics with the addition of flange end connections for easy installation into flanged piping systems. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 3″, the Type 7031 supports ANSI #150, ANSI #300, and DIN EN 1092-1 flange standards, making it suitable for both US and international process installations.

Rated to 580 psi with media temperatures from -22°F to 392°F and application capability down to -148°F, the Type 7031 handles gases, vapors, and fluids across a broad range of industrial conditions. Optional ATEX non-electrical approval, low-temperature, pressure-balanced, and clean-service versions are available to meet specialized application requirements.

Features & Benefits

  • Flanged angle seat valve design provides direct drop-in installation into ANSI or DIN flanged piping systems without adapter fittings
  • Supports ANSI #150, ANSI #300, and DIN EN 1092-1 flange standards for broad application compatibility
  • Stainless steel CF8M body construction for resistance to a wide range of aggressive media
  • Available in sizes 1/2″ to 3″ — wider range than the 7030 ductile iron flange valve
  • High pressure rating of 580 psi with media temperatures from -22°F to 392°F
  • Extended application temperature range of -148°F to 428°F for low-temperature and cryogenic service
  • Pneumatically operated with choice of piston or stainless steel diaphragm actuator
  • Actuator body options in brass (chrome plated), stainless steel, or polymer
  • Optional ATEX non-electrical approval (II 2G Ex h IIC and II 2D Ex h IIIC) for hazardous area installations
  • Special versions available: low temperature, pressure balanced, degreased, silicone-free, and PTFE-free
  • Accessories including limit switch, pilot valve, and manual override available from factory
  • CRN Certificate, EC and UKCA Declarations of Conformity, and Safety Manual with SIL manufacturer’s declaration available
