Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 2041 is a compact, intelligent control head designed for mounting on linear valve actuators. It combines contactless position detection, integrated pilot valve control, and real-time digital position feedback in a single device — reducing component count and simplifying installation. Both visual feedback via color-coded long-range LEDs and electrical feedback via digital output signals are provided simultaneously.

The Type 2041 is built for demanding industrial environments, operating reliably across a temperature range of –4 °F to +140 °F with an IP67 protection rating per EN 60529. Its maintenance-free, wear-free measuring system and automatic initialization make it well-suited for applications where process reliability and ease of commissioning are critical.
