Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 8023 GS3 is a high-temperature sliding gate control valve designed for modulating and high-cycle on/off applications at media temperatures up to 986°F — the highest media temperature rating across the entire Schubert & Salzer valve lineup. Similar in design to the Type 8020 GS3, the Type 8023 adds engineered high-temperature capability and is equally suited for high-cycle applications where rapid and repeatable operation at elevated temperatures is required.

Available in sizes 1/2″ to 10″ in stainless steel CF8M body with 316L cover, the Type 8023 is rated to 145/580 psi and ANSI #150 and #300. The NAMUR interface enables universal positioner assembly with pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, and digital positioners, as well as direct on/off operation. Special versions are available on request for extended temperature or other application requirements. TA-Luft / ISO 15848-1, CRN, and SIL approvals are standard.
