HTS KS – RV / RVS Control Valves
Need help selecting your product?
Overview
The Honeywell RV and RVS are modulating control valves designed for continuously regulated burner processes involving gas and air. The RV is a standalone control valve, while the RVS integrates a safety shut-off solenoid valve in a single compact unit. Both models deliver a linear ratio of input signal to flow rate with a wide control ratio of up to 100:1, making them well suited for precise combustion ratio control across a broad range of industrial applications.
Available in multiple sizes with threaded or flanged connections, the RV and RVS accept three-point step control or continuous control inputs (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and provide position feedback via potentiometer or 4–20 mA output. Enclosure rating IP54 and ambient temperature range of -20 to +60 °C support demanding industrial environments. The series is CE and UKCA certified and carries AGA approval for select RVS..ML configurations.
Features & Benefits
- Linear ratio of input signal to flow rate — ensures predictable, repeatable combustion control across the full operating range
- Control ratio up to 100:1 — supports wide turndown without sacrificing accuracy
- RVS variant integrates a safety shut-off solenoid valve — reduces installation space, piping, and component count
- Accepts three-point step control or continuous control (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) — compatible with a broad range of combustion management systems
- Position feedback via potentiometer or 4–20 mA signal — enables precise closed-loop control integration
- Suitable for gas and air — a single valve family covers both fuel and combustion air control
- Adjustable running time (30 or 60 seconds) — allows tuning to match burner and process requirements
- Aluminum alloy (AlSi) housing — lightweight and corrosion-resistant construction
- IP54 enclosure rating (IEC 529) — protects against dust and water ingress in industrial environments
- CE and UKCA certified; AGA approved (RVS..ML models) — meets major international compliance requirements
