Overview

DeviceConfig is the official configuration and diagnostic software from Schubert & Salzer for use with their 8049 positioner (Ex, 2-/4-conductor versions) and the 2030 and 2032 motor actuators. It allows technicians to set, adjust, and download device parameters quickly using pre-built valve-specific setup files — eliminating manual configuration steps and reducing commissioning time.

Beyond initial setup, DeviceConfig provides real-time diagnostic data including operating hours, valve travel history, temperature and stroke range logging, and live signal monitoring. This data supports proactive maintenance scheduling, control optimization, and long-term documentation — all exportable to PDF directly from the software.
