Overview
The Schubert & Salzer Type 7051 is a pneumatically operated right angle control valve combining a space-saving 90-degree body design with full modulating control capability. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 2″ with all wetted components in 316 stainless steel, the Type 7051 is rated to 580 psi with media temperatures from -22°F to 392°F and extended application capability from -148°F to 428°F. Multiple Cv options and flow characteristics are available, with an elastomeric plug seal for positive shut-off.
Compatible with the Schubert & Salzer Type 8049 digital positioner and Type 8047 pneumatic/electro-pneumatic positioner, or operable in direct-acting mode, the Type 7051 suits control loop applications where a straight-through valve cannot be accommodated. NPT and Whitworth pipe thread connections are available, with the full range of actuator options in brass, stainless steel, and polymer.
