Schubert & Salzer – Type 8045 – Electro-Pneumatic Converter

Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 8045 is a compact electro-pneumatic (I/P) converter designed to transform an electrical current signal into a proportional pneumatic output signal. It enables precise electrical control of pneumatic positioners on control valves, making it well-suited for both field installation and switch cabinet mounting.

The Type 8045 accepts standard 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA input signals and outputs either 3–15 psi or 7–60 psi pneumatic signals. It is also available in an explosion-proof (EEx) version rated II 2G Ex ib IIC T6 Gb for use in hazardous area applications.
