Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 7310 is a high-thrust angle seat motor valve engineered for precision on/off and modulating control in critical applications requiring greater pressure and thrust capability. Available in sizes 1-1/2″ to 3″ in stainless steel CF8M and rated to 580 psi, the Type 7310 features actuator thrust options of 450 lbf and 1,120 lbf — significantly higher than other motor valves in the Schubert & Salzer lineup — and is rated IP67 for enhanced environmental protection.

Media temperatures range from -22°F to 392°F with application capability up to 428°F. Connection options include NPT thread, Whitworth pipe thread, welding ends, and Tri-clamp. Motor voltages of 24 V AC/DC, 230 V, and 110/120 V are supported with 3-point, (0)2–10V, and (0)4–20mA control signals. A fail-safe option is available on all control actuators.

Features & Benefits

  • High-thrust actuator options of 450 lbf and 1,120 lbf for reliable operation in critical, high-differential-pressure applications
  • IP67 protection rating — higher ingress protection than the IP65-rated motor valves in the lineup, suited for submerged or high-washdown environments
  • Stainless steel CF8M body rated to 580 psi for demanding process media
  • Fail-safe option available on all control actuators for defined valve position on power loss
  • Larger size range of 1-1/2″ to 3″ — targeted at bigger pipeline installations where higher thrust is needed
  • Motor voltage options: 24 V AC/DC, 230 V, and 110/120 V with 3-point, (0)2–10V, and (0)4–20mA control signal inputs
  • Broad connection options: NPT thread, Whitworth pipe thread, welding ends, and Tri-clamp for diverse installation requirements
  • Media temperatures from -22°F to 392°F with application capability up to 428°F
  • Special versions available: pressure balanced, degreased, silicone-free, and PTFE-free
  • Positioner electronics, limit switch, and position feedback accessories available
  • EC and UKCA Declarations of Conformity available
