Overview
The Schubert & Salzer Type 7072 is a pneumatic pinch valve designed for use with endless (continuous) flexible tubes in sizes from 1/8″ to 1/2″ inner diameter. The valve operates by pneumatically compressing or releasing the tube, keeping the valve body completely free of media contact — making it one of the most hygienic isolation methods available for aggressive, sterile, or particulate-laden fluids.
The Type 7072 features a chrome-plated brass body with interchangeable fixing pieces to accommodate tubes of different diameters, a built-in stroke limitation to prevent tube overloading, and a rotatable bonnet for flexible installation orientation. It is well suited for specialty applications in chemistry, food processing, and dispensary environments.
