Overview

The Kromschroeder IFD 258 is a burner control unit designed to ignite and monitor gas burners in continuous operation applications. It features ionization control for flame detection, an adjustable cut-off point, and a display for indicating both program status and flame signal intensity. The unit carries IP 54 ingress protection and is EU certified, FM approved, and CSA approved, making it suitable for demanding industrial combustion environments.

The IFD 258 belongs to the Kromschroeder Series 200 family of burner controls. It supports both ionization and UV flame control and includes selectable restart or immediate fault lock-out behavior in the event of flame failure, providing operational flexibility to match application safety requirements.
