HTS KS – WBV-H Wafer Butterfly Valves for Hot Air

Overview

The Honeywell WBV-H is a wafer-style butterfly valve engineered to trim or control high temperature ambient air or preheated combustion air. Available in sizes from 6 to 22 inches, the WBV-H is designed for installation between standard pipe flanges and can be ordered with a hand lever for manual operation or with a lever and linkage assembly for automatic actuator control.

When sizing the WBV-H for automatic control systems, standard practice is to select the valve for a differential pressure (Δp) of 10–20% of total available air pressure. Temperature service must be specified at time of order: ambient air service to 400°F or preheated air service to 1200°F.
