Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 8056 GS3 is a manually operated low temperature sliding gate valve designed for precise control and isolation of neutral and aggressive media in cryogenic service applications. Built in a space-saving wafer-type design, the Type 8056 is rated for fluid temperatures down to -328°F and is available in sizes from 1/2″ to 4″.

The GS3 series utilizes a stainless steel CF8M body with metal bellows stem sealing and a carbon/stainless steel disc pair, delivering tight shutoff (IEC 60534-4 Class IV-S1) and high Cv values across all sizes. The valve meets TA-Luft 2021 and ISO 15848-1 fugitive emission requirements and is available with optional ATEX non-electrical certification.
