Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 7080 is a pneumatically operated 3/2-way (3-port, 2-position) valve manufactured in bronze RG5, designed for high-cycle diverting and mixing service. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ and rated to 235 psi, the Type 7080 handles gases, vapors, and fluids at media temperatures from -22°F to +338°F with application capability up to +392°F.

Unlike the 2-way on/off valves in the Schubert & Salzer lineup, the Type 7080 offers distributing and mixing control functions, making it suited for process applications that require flow to be switched between two outlet paths or combined from two inlet sources. NPT and Whitworth pipe thread connections are available, with the full range of actuator and accessory options.
