The ASCO Series 159 Motorized Actuator is a heavy-duty, electrohydraulic actuator designed for reliable gas shut-off control in industrial heating systems. This model, P159A121X1X13F0, operates on 120V and features fast-opening performance with a proof-of-closure switch and a damper shaft with arm.
It provides precise On/Off control and is ideal for use with boilers, ovens, furnaces, dryers, incinerators, and thermal oxidizers. When mounted to an ASCO Series 158 gas valve, the actuator and valve assembly create a globally certified safety shut-off solution. Built-in position indicators on both sides of the actuator clearly display valve status for easy visual monitoring.
This model includes a proof-of-closure switch for added safety, a fast-opening configuration for responsive control, and a ½” NPT electric connection fitting. It uses a damper shaft mounting setup and is rated for general-purpose environments. Internal control valves ensure repeatable actuator positioning throughout its operational cycle.
