Schubert & Salzer – Type 4030 Ball Sector Motor Valve
Need help selecting your product?
Overview
The Schubert & Salzer Type 4030 is a motorized ball sector valve designed for on/off and modulating control applications where compressed air is unavailable and the process media is contaminated, abrasive, viscous, or pasty. Driven by a robust electrical rotating actuator, the Type 4030 handles fluids, suspensions, gases, and challenging media that would damage conventional valve designs. Available in sizes 1″ to 12″ in stainless steel CF8M / 316L, the valve features size-dependent pressure ratings ranging from 580 psi in small sizes down to 232 psi in larger pipe diameters.
Media temperatures range from -40°F to 428°F depending on sealing selection. The wafer-type body design installs between standard ANSI flanges, and the actuator supports control and 3-point configurations with voltages of 230 VAC, 115 VAC, 24 VAC, 400 V, and 24 VDC. TA-Luft Attestation and TA-Luft / ISO 15848-1 fugitive emissions compliance are standard approvals, with optional ATEX non-electrical approval for hazardous area installations.
