Overview

The Kromschroeder IFD 244 is an automatic burner control unit designed to ignite and monitor gas burners in continuous operation. It features ionization-based flame supervision and is suitable for directly ignited gas burners up to 350 kW. The unit is rated IP54 and is approved to FM and CSA standards, with EU certification per EN 298.

The IFD 244 incorporates a 2-digit 7-segment display for indicating program status, flame signal intensity, and coded fault messages. It is available in standard versions requiring an external ignition transformer, as well as integrated ignition variants (IFD 244..I) with a built-in ignition unit. DIN-rail snap-mount or screw-mount installation is supported in any mounting position.
