HTS KS – BIC, BICA, ZIC Direct Fired Furnace Burner Series
Need help selecting your product?
Overview
The Honeywell BIC, BICA, and ZIC series are nozzle-mixing direct fired furnace burners designed for high-temperature industrial heating applications. Available in cast steel (BIC), aluminium (BICA), and sheet steel (ZIC) housings, each model connects to a SiSiC ceramic tube that enables operation in furnace environments up to 1450°C (2642°F). Burner sizes range from 50 to 200 with capacities spanning 10 to 1000 kW and burner lengths from 300 to 1200 mm.
The series supports cold air, hot air, flat flame, and high-temperature combustion modes. Preheated combustion air up to 600°C (1112°F) is supported, and the burners are compatible with natural gas, LPG, coke oven gas, town gas, biogas, and low calorific value gases (fuel type availability varies by model). Control options include on/off, modulating, pilot rate, and pneumatic ratio control, with flame supervision via standard flame rod or optional UV sensor.
Features & Benefits
