HTS Hauck – StarJet SJ Series Open-Fired Multi-Fuel Burner

Overview

The Hauck StarJet is an open-fired, multi-fuel burner engineered for the aggregate drying industry. It uses internal hot-gas recirculation to stabilize the flame across a wide operating range, eliminating the need for a refractory ignition tile or combustion chamber. The burner delivers high-intensity, rapid heat release and supports flame shaping — from a short, bushy flame for drum mixing to a long flame profile — depending on the application.

Available in models ranging from SJ075 to SJ980, the StarJet series covers capacities from approximately 12 to 200 MMBTU/hr. Its wide turndown ratio is especially valuable during lower production demands, such as cold patch material production. The StarJet can fire any single fuel or any two fuels in combination (except liquid LP and fuel oil simultaneously), and a compressed air option is also available.
