Overview

Hauck Micro-Cam oil valves (MCOV) provide accurate, reproducible flow control of fuel oil to industrial process equipment, making the operation of oil-fired heat processing systems more dependable. Available in B, F, G, and K series, these valves are designed to handle all grades of fuel oil — including heavy residuals — as well as liquid propane (LP).

The MCOV series features solid cold-rolled steel body construction with heat-tempered components for long service life. A zero-maintenance design resists fouling without routine servicing, and a precision micro-cam metering mechanism delivers consistent, repeatable flow characteristics across modulating, manual, and actuator-coupled configurations.

Features & Benefits

  • All-purpose liquid fuel valve suitable for all grades of fuel oil including heavy residuals and LP — broad media compatibility for diverse process applications
  • Precision micro-cam metering principle using a knife-edge rotating against a V-slot delivers accurate, repeatable flow control across the full operating range
  • Solid cold-rolled steel body construction, precision machined and heat tempered — ensures mechanical durability and long service life in demanding industrial environments
  • Zero-maintenance design prevents fouling and eliminates scheduled servicing requirements
  • Configurable for manual operation, linked actuator, or direct-coupled actuator — supports a wide range of burner system integration methods
  • Suitable for metering or limiting fuel flow in main or bypass fuel supply circuits
  • UL Listed B and F series valves — documented third-party approval for applicable installations
  • Oil valves rated to 225 PSI; LP valves rated to 250 PSI — robust pressure capability for typical industrial burner service
