Overview
The Schubert & Salzer Type 8621 GS3 is a pneumatic sliding gate control valve with integrated positioner, designed to US process industry standards including ASME B16.34, API RP 553, API 598, ASME B31.1, and ASME B31.3. Featuring raised-face integral flange connections per ASME B16.5 RF, the Type 8621 is available in sizes 1/2″ to 8″ with stainless steel CF8M or carbon steel WCC body options rated for ANSI #150 and #300. Media temperatures range from -76°F to 662°F, and the valve handles steam, liquids, and gases across a wide range of process applications.
The Type 8621 supports digital positioner Type 8049 and pneumatic/electro-pneumatic positioner Type 8047 configurations, as well as NAMUR standard positioner mounting. Optional versions include NACE MR0175 for sour service, and additional ASME piping code versions per ASME B31.5, B31.8, and B31.9 are available on request. TA-Luft / ISO 15848-1 fugitive emissions compliance is a standard approval.
