Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 7017 is a pneumatically operated stainless steel globe valve designed for on/off applications handling neutral to highly aggressive media including gases, vapors, and fluids. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 2″ with a stainless steel CF8M body, the Type 7017 is rated to 580 psi with a media temperature range of -22°F to +338°F and extended application capability from -148°F to +428°F.

The straight-through globe body design delivers a high flow rate while also enabling highly efficient and simplified external insulation of the valve — an advantage in thermally demanding or energy-sensitive process installations. Connection is via welding ends per ISO 1127, and optional versions are available for oxygen, ozone, FDA-compliant, and EU Directive EG 1935/2004 food contact applications.
