Overview

The Schubert & Salzer Type 8035 GS3 is a motorized sliding gate control valve with third-party electric actuator featuring a mechanical spring return fail-safe. Ideal where fail-safe mechanical return is contained within the specification, the Type 8035 provides a defined valve position on power loss without relying on stored energy or electronic controls. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 10″ with stainless steel (CF8M / 316L cover) or carbon steel (WCB / 316L cover) body options, the valve is rated to 145/580 psi, 1,450 psi, and ANSI #150, #300, and #600.

Media temperatures range from -76°F to 662°F with special versions available on request. The third-party electric actuator supports control and 3-point configurations with thrust ratings of 1.2 kN and 3 kN and voltage options of 230 V AC, 24 V AC, and 110/120 V AC. Protection class is IP54 as standard with IP65 available optionally. CRN Certificate and TA-Luft / ISO 15848-1 are standard approvals.
