The Rosemount 6A00453G05 is a diffuser designed for use with Rosemount in-situ oxygen probes. It fits both the Oxymitter 4000 and the 6888 oxygen analyzer models.
This diffuser is made from Alloy 600 and includes a vee deflector to reduce gas velocity at the sensing tip. It is rated for service up to 1300°F (705°C). It helps stabilize O₂ readings and protect the sensor in flue gas streams with moderate dust or flow disturbances.
Compared to the snubber version (6A00453G01), this diffuser is less restrictive and allows faster response time. It is ideal for cleaner combustion systems where speed of measurement is important.
The diffuser installs at the probe tip and is field-replaceable.
