Overview
The Honeywell Model P522 is a fail-safe, self-checking dual-channel UV and IR signal processor designed for use with two switched S55XBE series viewing heads. It provides independent gain adjustments for each sensor channel and multiple IR flicker set points, making it well-suited for industrial flame monitoring applications where a high level of flame discrimination is required.
The P522 features an integrated 4-digit digital flame signal display, LED status indicators, and an analog bar graph for continuous system visibility. Configuration and monitoring can be performed locally at the device or remotely via FlameTools software over Modbus RS-422 communication. Available in AC and DC input voltage versions to accommodate a range of installation requirements.
