Overview

The Honeywell WHG Wall Hugger is a flat flame gas burner designed for direct-fired furnace applications requiring even heat distribution with no flame impingement. The burner produces a flat flame profile that hugs the furnace wall or roof throughout the entire firing range, promoting uniform radiant heating from the refractory surfaces rather than direct flame contact with the load.

Available in six sizes (WHG 112 through WHG 140), the WHG series covers a capacity range from approximately 175,000 to 2,300,000 Btu/h (47 to 610 kW). The burner supports preheated combustion air up to 800°F (425°C), direct spark or gas pilot ignition, and UV or flame rod flame supervision, making it suitable for a wide range of controlled-atmosphere and high-temperature industrial furnace applications.
