Overview

The Honeywell Eclipse RatioMatic® is a nozzle-mix, ratio-controlled air-heating burner engineered for direct and indirect air heating and oven applications up to 1,900°F (1,040°C). Packaged for quick installation and startup, the RatioMatic features an integral ratio regulator that automatically adjusts gas flow in proportion to combustion air pressure, a direct-drive air butterfly valve that eliminates linkage-related slippage, and a fast-mixing nozzle that delivers a clean, stable flame at all firing rates. Available in models RM0050 through RM3000, the series covers capacities from 135 to 8,000 kW (500,000 to 30,000,000 Btu/hr).

The modular design supports a wide range of configurations including vertical-down, vertical-up, and horizontal mounting orientations. Standard nozzles accept natural gas, propane, or butane, and burners can be ordered stripped or fully packaged, wired, and piped, ready to set up and start up. The RatioMatic’s simple, self-compensating design reduces start-up time and operator guesswork, making it well-suited for emission-sensitive processes requiring low NOx, CO, and aldehyde output.
