Overview

The Honeywell PrimeFire 100 is an oxy-fuel burner designed for glass melting furnaces and other high-temperature industrial applications. It produces a conventional cone-shaped flame with high luminosity and supports multiple fuel types — including natural gas, light oil, and heavy oil — with the ability to switch between fuels in a few minutes without major downtime.

The PrimeFire 100 has become an industry standard for glass furnace applications, offering greater operational flexibility, improved melter efficiency, extended refractory life, and a proven no-maintenance design. Its adjustable flame shape allows variation in flame coverage to suit melter size and temperature profile, and its higher firing range makes it a strong choice for float glass furnaces.
