HTS Eclipse – HeatPak Packaged Burner Systems
Need help selecting your product?
Overview
The Honeywell® HeatPak is a completely pre-assembled and pre-wired packaged burner system built around the time-tested Eclipse RatioAir and RatioMatic air heating burners. Each unit integrates an integral combustion air fan, a complete gas safety and control system, and a burner control unit into a single compact package — designed for fast installation in new and retrofit industrial air heating applications.
Two base configurations are available: the RatioAir HeatPak (RAHP), which uses an excess air head for higher turndown and operates in recirculating, non-recirculating, or indirect heating modes; and the RatioMatic HeatPak (RMHP), which features a patented baffle-plate burner head for a stable, uniform flame with reduced emissions, designed exclusively for hot air applications. Both types use pneumatic air/gas ratio control for modulating capacity regulation.
Features & Benefits
- Completely pre-assembled and pre-wired at the factory — reduces on-site installation time and minimizes wiring errors
- Compact integrated design with fan, gas safety system, gas control system, and burner control unit as one coordinated package
- Modulating pneumatic air/gas ratio control (RAHP and RMHP) — maintains accurate fuel-to-air ratio across the full capacity range
- RMHP patented baffle-plate burner head delivers a stable, uniform flame with reduced emissions at low process temperatures
- RAHP ThermJet excess air head provides high turndown and greater operational flexibility with straight or tapered (medium velocity) burner tube options
- Direct electrical ignition (spark electrode) with factory-preset pressure switches for safe, repeatable burner start
- Modular BCU configuration — choose BCU 570 (with optional PROFINET or Modbus TCP), BCU 370 (with optional PROFIBUS DP), or terminal box for customer-supplied controls
- Nozzle-mix burner design — gas and air mix only at the burner head, eliminating explosive gas mixtures in upstream pipework
- IC 20 actuator with three-point step or continuous (4–20 mA) control input for flexible integration into existing process temperature control systems
- Optional fan filter and gas pressure regulator GDJ available for demanding or high-pressure inlet applications
- Compliant with EN 746-2, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
