Overview

The Honeywell MB 7 / BVHM is a solenoid-operated butterfly valve assembly designed for staged control of industrial burners handling cold or hot air and flue gas. The BVHM butterfly valve body mounts between standard EN or ANSI flanges and is driven by the MB 7 solenoid actuator, which incorporates a spring-loaded return mechanism to ensure fail-safe closure on de-energization. Available in sizes DN 40 through DN 100 and rated for media temperatures up to 450°C, the combination is suited to demanding combustion air control applications.

Three actuator variants — MB 7N, MB 7R, and MB 7L — provide distinct opening and closing speed profiles to match On/Off and High/Low burner control strategies. The valve disc is stainless steel, the body is ductile cast iron (GGG), and the solenoid enclosure carries an IP65 rating. Supply voltages of 24 V DC, 120 V AC, and 220/240 V AC are available to suit a wide range of panel and control system configurations.
