HTS IFM – S70X/S80X Series Viewing Heads

Overview

The Honeywell S70X/S80X Series are single-channel viewing heads designed for industrial flame monitoring on gas or oil fired burners. Available in UV or IR sensing configurations, these viewing heads are used in conjunction with 700, 800, P531, or P532 signal processors and are well suited for single-fuel applications where a high level of flame discrimination is not required.

UV models utilize a UVTron sensor with pulse technology, making them especially effective for low-NOx burners with small or slow-moving flames. IR models use a germanium photodiode with flicker sensitivity for reliable detection across a broad spectral range. The S70X series features an aluminum body with over-center latch mounting, while the S80X series uses a stainless steel body with twist-lock mounting for higher-pressure applications.
