HTS Eclipse – PrimeFire 300 Oxy-Fuel Burner

Overview

The Eclipse PrimeFire® 300 is an adjustable oxy-fuel burner engineered for glass melting furnaces. Its distinctive fish-tail flame geometry spreads combustion uniformly across the glass bath surface, delivering significantly improved heat flux distribution, extended refractory life, and reduced melting costs compared to conventional burner designs.

Available in three overlapping capacity ranges from 0.50 to 8.00 MM Btu/h, the PrimeFire® 300 supports natural gas as primary fuel with an optional dual-fuel configuration for light or heavy fuel oil as a backup. An adjustable mechanism on the burner body allows on-site control of flame shape — both length and width — to match melter geometry and the required temperature profile.
