HTS Maxon Valves – Micro Ratio Valves M,P,O Styles
Need help selecting your product?
The Honeywell Maxon Micro-Ratio Valve series (M, P, and O Styles) provides mechanically linked, adjustable fuel-to-air ratio control for industrial combustion systems. A fixed-gradient air butterfly valve is linked to one or more adjustable-gradient SYNCHRO fuel valves, allowing precise proportioning across the firing range with twelve adjustable positions per valve for fine profile tuning.
Features & Benefits
- Mechanically linked air/fuel control for stable, repeatable ratio through the entire firing curve.
- Twelve-position cam adjustments on SYNCHRO valves for detailed curve shaping.
- Wide application flexibility with hundreds of possible valve combinations (air, gas, or oil).
- Right-hand or left-hand flow assemblies available; field-reversible if required.
- Torque-sizing guidelines ensure correct actuator selection for multi-valve assemblies.
Model Overview
Styles & Typical Service: M = Air Butterfly | P = Gas Poppet | O = Oil Poppet
| Style | Available Valve Sizes | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| M-Style (Air Butterfly) | 1½″, 2″, 2½″, 3″, 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″, 14″, 16″, 18″ | High-temperature versions available. Use torque tables for actuator sizing. |
| P-Style (Gas Poppet) | ½″, ¾″, 1″, 1¼″, 1½″, 2″, 2½″ | Flow direction indicated on valve body. Size selection based on inlet pressure and ΔP. |
| O-Style (Oil Poppet) | ⅜″, ½″, ¾″, 1″, 1¼″, 1½″, 2″ | Designed for oil service; observe temperature and pressure limitations. |

Additional Information
- Performance graphs and Cv/ΔP data available for P-style gas valves to ensure proper sizing.
- Observe flow direction markings on poppet valve bodies (P and O styles).
- Linkage torque values must be summed when selecting actuator size for combined assemblies.
- All valves are factory-tested for performance and accuracy prior to shipment.
