The Rosemount 6A00453G01 is a snubber diffuser used with in-situ oxygen probes. It fits both the Rosemount Oxymitter 4000 and the Rosemount 6888 oxygen analyzers.
This diffuser helps protect the zirconia oxygen sensor from dust, ash, or high-velocity gas streams. It slows the gas flow across the sensing element, improving probe stability and extending sensor life. It is often used in dirty or high-particulate flue gas applications.
The snubber diffuser installs at the tip of the O₂ probe and is field-replaceable.
